Nike wrestling shoes from 1984, gifted by Rob and Julie Strausser.

My wife worked as the Security Guard at the Portland Plaza back in the late 1980’s and became good friends with them, as they lived in the Penthouse of the Portland Plaza. Back then Rob’s wife Julia gave her these pair of Nike’s. She’s had them ever since we got married in 1990 and recently came across them as we are “cleaning “ out the closet space.

Rob Strausser was the man who started Air Jordan’s shoes of Nike fame. (See the movie “Air” starring Jason Bateman as Strausser)

They are “used” shoes but that is the true history behind these pair of Nike’s. - 100% authentic.
