An attractive and rare cruet set (salt, pepper, mustard with lid and long tray/base dish) in very good condition. ‘Wild Geese’ was designed by Sir Peter Scott for Midwinter Pottery in the early 1950s and this beautiful set is in very good condition for its age. Wild Geese design all on a smooth cream-coloured ground.

No chips or cracks but a few areas of the light surface crazing you’d normally expect to find on a piece of kitchenware of this age - I hope this is shown clearly in the photographs. The tray is in lovely condition too - a little crazing around the illustration. Salt and pepper - neither have crazing on the surface. In really good condition. The mustard pot does have small patches of crazing and discoloration from use as shown. Please examine the photos closely.

Tray is Fully backstamped in the earlier Stylecraft shape. A very collectible and desirable piece. Bungs in S&P unlikely these are original.

I will be listing my entire collection of this design with many more pieces to come.
