Just beautiful vintage huge pair of handmade/machine curtains by Avon Fabrics and were made in Lancashire, England.  A very rare find!

Strong sense of the "Arts & Crafts" Flame pattern, inspired by William Morris and is a original screen print by Avon Fabrics.  The selvedge is fully written up and not a modern copy see photos

Very thick heavy 100% matte cotton (similar to linen union) with a mottled multicoloured ground with tiny scattering of mustard flecks.  I have provided colour charts for comparison to give you an idea of colours, which I would say are a duck egg blue and green, blush coral and ivory.  All photos will enlarge for closer inspection and ask if unsure or any questions and I can provide further photos if needed.

Pencil pleats header, which I have unknotted the strings and ungathered, so the top is the same width as the bottom and they will be ready to gather up to suit.  Make sure ends are knotted before you do.  Unlined and 2 vertical seams with pattern match.

Each curtain measures 66" drop x 127" wide top and bottom.  They are extra wide (as 3 widths wide), giving a full look and weight is 2.4kg unpacked. No tie backs included.

They have been simply made with the side seams just loosely folded over and the bottom hem has been let down so some marks around the bottoms/hem line see photos but as they are gentle machine washable, they can either be washed or hang as is.  Both pull edges have about half inch fading but not really noticeable, otherwise they are in good overall condition.  No tiebacks included.

Courier signed medium over 2kg.
