A beautiful single large vintage curtain which would suit a country house or in a vintage setting and the quality is excellent, probably Sanderson or GP & J Baker.
Quality thick heavy matte cotton with a fabulous rich detailed "Tree of Life" pattern, very reminiscent of the "Arts & Crafts" movement inspired by William Morris and includes birds of paradise, fruits, flowers and ferns. Ground is a creamy ivory (almost a lemon ivory) see colour charts for comparison and has 1 vert seam with pattern match. Any questions then ask, lots of pics all will enlarge.
Pencil pleats and the strings have not been cut and ungathered, so can be adjusted to suit. Fully lined in stone cotton.
The curtain measures 74.5" drop x 110" wide (ex wide and nice and full) and a 3.5" hem. Weight 1.9kg.
In well cared for condition and will not need cleaning. No fading. Tieback not included.
