Just beautiful and made by Artisans at Brierley Hill, also known as Brier Glass, which catch the light in a rainbow of colours and has a high pitch ring when tapped.
A family business since 1913 based in the Stourbridge area and one of the few left who use the "Roughing and Smoothing" techniques using traditional stone cutting methods to achieve a depth and brilliance and handmade in Stourbridge.
Pair of champagne tall flutes, hand cut with the Passion Flower pattern with tendrils and leaves. Diamond cuts below and an elegant thin rim. Stem is also cut with small slashes and a faceted knop stem which then joins the star cut base. Unsigned, which is not uncommon and a well known pattern by Brierley Hill.
Measures 8" high x 2 2/8" diameter and holds 150mls. Weight 260g-330g as handmade and vary.
