Etched design of “The Thirsty Knight” – Der Durstige Ritter incised on the front. It has a conical inlay lid in the form of a castle turret and a figural thumb lift of a knight blowing a horn and holding a halberd. The three panels on the body of the stein depict knights in various poses, the left standing with his sword, the center panel seated and looking forward with a dog, and on the right panel, the knight riding off on his horse.
