Rick Wheat Nouvel Headstall Training Bitless Bosal Hackamore with Split Reins

Description

The Equine Headstall by Noavel is a bitless bridle that is proven to be a comfortable solution for horses who do not prefer traditional bridles with bits.  The headstall was designed by the late Rick Wheat and does not restrict airflow, has nothing in the mouth, and gives the horse a sense of freedom while the rider maintains complete control.  The Noavel Headstall may be used as a halter, longing, driving, or training headstall, or as a bridle for riding.  It works on a bitless training technique with an oval shape nose band that operates on a bump and release principle.  It will not restrict a horse’s breathing and provides a sense of freedom, comfort, and calmness.  By using the bump-and-release principle, the training method generates calmness and trust when used properly.  The release or reward is the most humane benefit of this horse training and everyday riding tool.

The Noavel Headstall has a leather-covered steel Bosal that applies pressure to the nose and underneath the jaw when adjusted properly.  This Noavel is horse sized and measures 9.5 inches from the nose to the bar beneath the chin, by 7 inches wide between the headstall rings.  A special twist added during the manufacturing processes allows it to hang asymmetrically on the horse’s muzzle, and it is fully adjustable.  It can be used as a headstall, halter, and with or without a bit.

Like a bosal, the Noavel creates pressure points on the horse's nose and under his jaw.  Unlike a mechanical hackamore, or curb bit, the Noavel has no shanks for leveraged pressure.  This is a great training aid for that horse that is a little heavy in the nose because it does provide strong rider control including effective lateral control.  This Nouval will make a great addition to your training and show tack collection.  Because the Nouval doesn't interfere with the horse's eating and drinking ability, the Nouval is an excellent choice for competitive trail riding and endurance enthusiasts

It also doesn't interfere with your horse's eating or drinking ability. However, the vosal does provide strong rider control - including effective lateral control. - See more at: http://www.equisearch.com/article/trail-bridles-and-bits#sthash.vM3pqpmd.dpufany competitive endurance riders and trail riding enthusiasts.
