This cover was mailed from Bay Roberts, Newfoundland to Kalamazoo, Michigan in 1935 franked by a 5-cent deep violet Caribou issue of 1932, Scott 191 (die II). The stamp is tied to the envelope by a rimless circular date stamp.

Slit open right, the backflap is sealed and intact. No contents or backstamps.
