The lid has a tendency to stick and to take it off I've always had to unhinge the sides and prise the lid off with a small knife or blade. Don't know why it sticks. Maybe the edges need a clean with alcohol. The case has some white markings which I think come from some long term storage residue connected with the protective foam. Have not tried to clean it as I am selling as is. It switches on and works very well as does the focus on the lens. I have not tried with film as I have no film. But do watch the video for reassurance. The machine itself is very clean and seems to function very well, though I am by no means an expert in camera or projection equipment. The projector will be well re-boxed and within its protective box ( a double layer ) and will be sent by Royal Mail.
