The Cycling cards are loose with no album but
are a complete set of fifty cards which are consecutively number from 1 to 50.
The cards are believed to have been issued by John Player & Sons in 1939
and come with an adhesive surface on the backs of them but the viability of the
adhesive has not been ascertained. There is some discolouration apparent to the
cards and some stains and dirt marks on them as well as a few minor scuffs,
creases and imprinted marks with some cards more noticeably affected than
others. The edges of the cards also appear slightly worn as well as having a
few minor indentations in some of them and some slight softening and rounding
to the tips of some of the corners with some cards more noticeably affected
than others. There is a slight curve apparent to the cards when they are
stacked together. The approximate size of each card is 68mm x 36mm. The approximate
combined weight of the fifty cards is 31g.
