The Great War Second Series cards are loose with no album and are an
incomplete set of ten cards which have the reference numbers: 104, 112, 115,
122, 124, 140, 142, 149, 150 and 154. The cards are believed to have been
issued by Gallaher Ltd in 1915. There is varying discolouration apparent to the
cards and various stains, dirt and foxing marks on them as well as some scuffs,
creases and imprinted marks with the visual appearance of some cards more
noticeably affected than others. The edges of the cards are varyingly scuffed,
softened and worn with some indentions apparent in some as well as some
rounding to the tips of the corners which appear slightly dog-eared. The cards
are curved which is most apparent when they are stacked together. The
approximate size of each card is 64mm x 39mm. The approximate combined weight
of the ten cards is 9g.
