This 22 x 23.5 x 5.5cm wooden case houses a set optometry lenses, used to test a person´s eyesight to prescribe the appropriate glasses. 

The dovetailed wooden case is lined in a nice deep red velvet and closes with 2 clips to the front.

The set contains 25 spherical convex, 40 concave cylindrical convex and 24 spherical concave lenses (the 0.12 spherical concave lens is missing).

This would make a great display and talking piece, or a great gift for a medical historian.
