M           Unplayed copy (normallysealed).

NM        Very light signs of usage which don’taffect play.

VG++    Light surface traces. Casual light tics orlight surface/groove noise may be possible.

VG+       Few audible defects like a short scratchor few sounding marks.

VG         More serious defects which give a lotof tics or surface noise.

N-           Record shows no scratches, scuffs, orwear. Plays like new. (NM)
E+           Recordshows very light wear. Should play like new.
E             Recordshows light scratches/scuffs which should not be audible when played.
E-            Recordshows light scratches/scuffs that may be audible.
V+          Recordshows moderate scratches/scuffs or wear that can be audibly noticible
V-           Recordshows considerable scratches/wear. Good for fill-in until a better copy turnsup.
P             Whatcan I say! Record is in poor condition, plays very rough.
