The Reign of H. M. King George V cards are loose with no album and are an incomplete set of fifty one cards which includes eighteen duplicates. The cards have the reference numbers: 1, 3, 5, 6, 7, 9, 10, 12, 13, 15, 16, 19, 22, 23, 25, 26, 27, 28, 30, 31, 32, 33, 35, 36, 37, 38, 39, 40, 42, 43, 45, 47 and 48. There are three duplicates of the cards with the reference numbers 26 and 33, two duplicates of the cards with the reference numbers: 36 and 37 and one duplicate of the cards with the reference numbers: 1, 3, 6, 25, 28, 30, 32 and 35. The cards are believed to have been issued by W.D. & H.O. Wills in 1935 and have an adhesive back but the current viability of the adhesive has not been ascertained. There is varying discolouration apparent to the cards and various stains, dirt and foxing marks on them as well as some creases and imprinted marks with some cards more noticeably affected than others. There is some noticeable loss of printed detailing from the backs of some of the cards as a result of the surface being torn as well as some loss of printed detailing as a result of being scuffed and worn with some of the cards more prominently and detrimentally affected than others as a result. The top left corners of the cards with the reference numbers 5 and 30 have been torn off and are missing. The edges of the cards are varyingly scuffed and worn with some indentations apparent in them as well as some rounding to the tips of the corners which appear slightly dog-eared. The cards are varyingly curved which is most apparent when they are all stacked together. The approximate size of each card is 36mm x 67mm. The approximate combined weight of the fifty one cards is 31g.
