The backside of the item has a rose stamped into the leather. Although there is a clasp to close the purse, I couldn't get the hook into the loop. Please note that I'm unsure if this is faux or real leather. This is truly a quality piece. There may be minor imperfections in the craftsmanship, as expected with any artist made item. Thanks!
