Vintage Anri Italy Handcarved Wood Pipe Holders with big heads and small bodies.

We have two possible bookends that also hold 3 pipes each.  Both have a large head with much smaller body but one has a hat, the other does not have a hat.  I love the detail of the teeth on both of them.  They are nearly identical in size being approximately 6 inches tall, 6 inches deep, 4 inches across at the front and 3 inches across at the back.  I do not see any marks or indication of where or who made them.  Assuming they are from Germany or the Alps in Northern Italy as they are from a collection of wood carvings I have and some had details on the bottoms of the carvings indicating that they were European.  The multicolor design, original paint, finish and handmade craftsmanship would indicate they are made by the Famous Artists Woodcarvers of the Alps in Northern Italy. 

CONDITION:  I do not see any issues at all, no chips, no repair, no damage, a bit dusty and some residue in the holes for your pipes which I will leave there for the buyer to clean up.  See pictures for additional detail.  Email me with any questions.
