I HAVE TAKE "MARIA'S "  PICTURE IN NATURAL LIGHT, THROUGHOUT THE DAY. I HAVE AVOIDED USING THE FLASH WHENEVER POSSIBLE .  I USE ONLY PICTURES THAT I FEEL REALLY "LOOK LIKE" THE DOLL. I WANT TO GIVE YOU THE BEST REPRESENTATION OF WHAT he/SHE ACTUALLY LOOKS LIKE SO YOU WILL BE THRILLED WHEN YOU BRING HIM/HER HOME! i have edited the pictured for size ONLY. there is no special lens or special effects used. I USE A MINIMAL AMOUNT OF "PROPS" I DON'T WANT TO DISTRACT FROM  THE BABY. NOTICE I TAKE EXTREME CLOSE UPS. I WANT YOU TO SEE EXACTLY  WHAT YOUR BABY LOOKS LIKE.

I start each doll with an idea of what i want him or her to look like. i usually choose A sculpt because they remind me of a child i have had in my care. sometimes i change details, like hair or eye color, but i usually stay true to the little one resembling the sculpt. i take a lot of pictures of the children i have with me while they are in foster care. i do this for 2 reasons, first of course is for the children to have a visual record of their time with our family, second is so i can reflect on the pictures for my dolls. i try to give my dolls are many realistic details as possible. i hope you enjoy looking at the pictures, and maybe even seeing these beautiful dolls in person. there is much love and heart put into every single one.

         Hair~    I Directionally MICRO ROOT 1-2 HAIR AT A TIME.  I USE ONLY WATER TO STYLE THE HAIR, SO YOU CAN SEE WHAT YOU LITTLE ONE WILL LOOK LIKE WITHIN MINUTES OF ARRIVING HOME. ONCE THE HAIR IS DRY, IT WILL HOLD ITS STYLE.YOU CAN WET AND RESTYLE AS OFTEN AS YOU LIKE. I HAVE USED  BABY BLONDE MOHAIR that is  naturally curly

sHe has a beautiful crown swirl, and natural hairline. this hair has been sealed from the inside with a waterproof sealer.( i have started using a new sealer in addition to the original i use. so the hair has been glued twice from the inside)
