  • Beschreibung: Aus: "Raccolta di vedute antiche e moderne della città di Roma e sue vicinanze" Presso Piale neg.e di stampe a S. Carlo al Corso (Italien, 1816). Gezeigt werden zwei architektonisch bedeutsame Klostergänge in kontrastreicher Schwarz-Weiß-Darstellung. Oberhalb erscheint ein weitläufiger Kreuzgang mit symmetrischen Bogengängen und Mittelgarten. Unten ein Hof mit markanten Bogenfenstern, umgeben von städtischen Strukturen. Figuren verleihen den Szenen menschliche Präsenz.

  • Description: From: "Raccolta di vedute antiche e moderne della città di Roma e sue vicinanze" Presso Piale neg.e di stampe a S. Carlo al Corso (Italy, 1816). Two architecturally significant monastery corridors are depicted in high-contrast black and white. A spacious cloister with symmetrical arcades and a central garden appears above. Below is a courtyard with striking arched windows, surrounded by urban structures. Figures lend the scenes a human presence.
