Perfect if you want to get straight out on sailing adventures without high cost.

This is a reasonable performance dinghy but won't cost you a lot, especially if you store at home in a garage rather than at a club.

This is our Merlin Rocket, hull number 3035, so between 1974 and 1978 judging on the post about this on the Merlin Rocket Association.

We are located near Hill Head, PO14 (near Southampton and Portsmouth).
It has new lines and hasn't been sailed since the hull was refurbished and repainted, and it's been garaged in the dry since (same for the trailer - hasn't been used since new hubs, painted, etc). The end photo shows it in situ in the dry.

We hoped to get out in this but simply haven't due to priorities elsewhere and it needs a good home with somebody who will sail it.
We don't have a car with a towbar now and we need the space to continue joinery work for our house (using the garage).

As you can see the timber is in great condition and is ready to sail.
Sails included and a spinnaker pole.
Ballast bags etc are good too.
Comes with a working light board with power, via regular tow bar plug.
It doesn't have a launching trolley or a cover.

Will accept any reasonable offer: the main priority is it getting out on the water and going to somebody who will sail it.

20% of the sale goes to charity (Shelter National Campaign for Homeless People).

Addendum note: Thanks to a very helpful Merlin Rocket owner, I have been informed that this hull number, 3035, is a design called 'Hooligan' by Phil Morrison. It was built by Aln Boatyards and was originally named 'Oomeegees'........ it was registered around 1976.
