Medallic Art Company 50th Anniversary Medal in bronze. Sculpted by Bruno Mankowski and struck by the Medallic Art Company (MACO) in 1950. This medal has been held in the American Numismatic Society's vaults since 2001 and was recently deaccessioned from its collection (2001.11.88). Janvier reducing machine and a female bust with wings and a lion skin on obverse; hand holding a medal, branch, 1900, 1950, MEDALLIC ART COMPANY, 50th ANNIVERSARY, and an eagle nest on reverse.
