This is a used Makinon 28mm f2.8 manual focus lens for Pentax K-M mount 35mm SLR cameras (early Pentax K, Ricoh, etc.) but fitting all PK-mount cameras including DSLRs. Focusing is manual; stop down is automatic by a rear linkage, and it supports open aperture metering on compatible cameras.

Unfortunately stop down is sluggish, taking about half a second, which means that unless exposures are very long it probably won't be stopped down properly. It works well adapted to other cameras with manual stopdown used. Additionally there's light internal dust (but no fungus apparent) and some cosmetic wear. I'm supplying it with caps and a cloth storage bag.

After I found that the iris was problematic I tested it on a Canon Eos 40D body with PK adapter. Aperture was set to f8 for all pictures. Weather was a moderately bright period between rain showers.

Makinon manufactured these lenses under their own name and multiple badge names including Vivitar, Hanimex, etc. . The design is typical of 28mm lenses sold under dozens of different names from multiple manufacturers. There are some reviews here. Note that the description says this lens has a 55mm filter, so far as I can tell there are no other differences between the lens I'm selling and the others reviewed - variations like this are fairly common:
