I've self-serviced this machine and every other machine I have worked on and sold. This machine is NOT-REFURBISHED. Refurbishment implies that caps or major parts have been replaced. Which is rarely necessary unless a machine has seen significant use.

Unlike many other sellers here, my machines are professionally tested thoroughly and aligned to meet professional studio standards. I spend a decent amount of labour time on each one of these machines so please take that into consideration with the price. I'll list my work below. 

Servicing and maintenance done -

- Tape Azimuth calibration.

- Tape Equalization calibration.

- 3000Hz Tape Speed check (3kHz for 4.8cm/s - 6kHz for 9.5cm/s) As seen by oscillator in the pictures.

- Extensive clean of the overall transport including clean and re-grease of all cogs/gears.

- Heads cleaned & demagged before shipping.

- Pinch roller / Idler wheel restoration.

- ALL pots/faders/jacks/phonos cleaned out.

- Entire internal and external clean.

- New Belts

Comes from smoke-free home studio, away from animals.
