This pair of vintage Chalices/Goblets were made for a company called Webb , they are Tarnish Protected Silverplate .

The interior well of the Chalices are gold gilded and are very bright and glossy.

They are stemmed on a heavy base ensuring a sturdy cup.

The Chalice/Goblets are beautifully etched with intricate patterns consisting of Grapes/Vines, scrolling and a Lion and Horse holding a crest with a crown.

Though the Goblets are Tarnish proof they do have some black spots in the Silverplate , this is an oxidation process called silver sulphide.

This does not detract from the aesthetic of the chalices and only adds to the vintage old world feel.

They would look lovely on a brass/Silver tray with other vintage pieces .

The Well of the chalices are gold gilded , this area also has some oxidation.

They have a good weight to them and wont easily topple over .

As these goblets are quite vintage (most likely MCM 1960-70’s) they have wear and tear commensurate with their age.

N.B. Items used to style chalices with are not included in the listing.
