Don’t miss your chance at these extremely hard to find fish. The Wabenmuster was first introduced to the aquarium hobby around 2006 in Germany. They came in as bye catch in an import shipment from Brazil. The collection location is still a mystery to this day and no other known exports have or can happen. To my knowledge the the first fish where brought into to the USA in 2012 .

You will receive 2 fish, one male and one female. The male will be 3.5” or larger and the female will be 3” or larger.

Ancistirus SP Wabenmuster also known as the honeycomb bristlenose. These fish were bred by me in the beautiful mountains of West.

These fish are great at keeping algae at bay but must be supplemented with fresh veggies and or algae wafers. I feed them a mix of fresh zucchini, bell peppers, sweet potatoes, Repasy Soilent Green French cut green beans. Ours are fed green beans every morning and a rotating schedule of the other foods at night. A 20 gallon long or larger is highly recommended for these guys as males can get over 5-6 inches when mature. A

PH between 7-8 and temperatures between 70-80 degrees is preferred.

Orders are only shipped Saturdays, if you order before Thursday evening they will ship that Saturday. Orders placed after that may ship the following week unless I have extras prepped for shipping which we normally do.

Most orders arrive on Monday or Tuesday so make sure to follow usps expected delivery not eBay.

These guys ship very well even with postal delays. They can also tolerate cooler or warmer temperatures if temperatures change is slow. All fish are shipped in large shipping bags with nearly 1/2 gallon of water. I do not use heat packs or extra packing in the box, all of the space In the box is used for air and water. Giving them extra water slows down any temperature change keeping them active and happy .

Live arrival is always guaranteed , in the very rare case any of your fish arrive DOA …….within 2 hours of delivery Please take two photos inside the unopened bag and one outside. A short video would certainly help as would temperature and ammonia levels if possible so we can further improve our shipping methods.

We will either send refund for the lost fish minus shipping if there are multiple DOA or ship out another order, depending on the circumstances we may ask to share some or all of the shipping cost on the second order.

With that said we have only had 3-4 issues in three years shipping 100s of boxes a year. We always do our best to insure the safety of the fish. We also strive to insure you are happy with your purchase and transaction experience.
