The category of this sword is 新刀 Shinto (New Swords).

 

The Hamon (temper line) is 中直刃 Naka-Sugu-ba .

There are some scratches due to in and out from the scabbard.

There are some kitae-kizu with age appropriate.

 

The hamon (temper line) of this sword is beautiful.

<The Procedure of sending Japanese swords abroad-It takes additional time!>

·         All our swords with hand forged blade are registered in the Agency for Cultural Affairs as artwork and The Board of Education(Cultural properties protection Committee); therefore each sword has the registration card, issued by the Board of Education.

·         After receiving the full payment of the items, we return the registration card and get the permission from Ministry of Cultural Affairs to export the swords legally from Japan.   It will take about 14-17 business days to do this procedure.  

·         After the receiving the permission, we will inform you by email and send the items immediately.

 

Important Notice:

·         We are not responsible for the problem of custom or post office.  As some countries are not allowed to import swords, because they might be considered swords as weapons.  Please confirm whether your country can import Japanese antique swords and antique goods before bidding/ buying.  We cannot refund the money due to this problem. 

·         Again, import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer's responsibility.
