The small scale check blue & white pattern is applied over a 100% silk base which would be suitable for dress with more city type attire and maybe under knitwear (v-necks/cardigan styles). Equally it could be used with a suit in navy and charcoal.
Handmade in Italy so you know its top notch.
A digital rose printed lining is used to face the opposite ends of this tie for that extra bit of finesse, the keeper loop is also made in the digital rose print pattern.
Silk is a delicate fabric and can pull on sharp edges, rough skin and jagged nails (so be careful).
Silk is also natural and biodegradable over 12/24 months and is sustainable.
Would be a great gift or yourself or a loved one.
Ideally you should wear with a classic suit or jacket with a normal width collar/lapel. Do not wear it with a skinny lapel jacket as a wide classic tie worn with a skinny collar/lapel will look odd.
This tie would sit perfectly with a crisp white shirt in a poplin or oxford weave.
Paul Smith ties now sell for around £100/120+ today. Although a few years old it looks brand new (as you can see). It is a snip especially as we will pay the (tracked) postage.
