This is a replica of the car that Richard Petty raced at the very first Daytona 500. in February, 1959. Authentic paint and graphics right down to Richard's early nickname "Squirrel Jr" next to his name on both doors. The original car had a bungie cord holding the hood to the front bumper and this diecast car even replicates that detail. Sequentially numbered on bottom of car. Hood opens. Brand new and right out of the factory case. Produced in 2007. Item # 18831
