A very well appointed loose powder compact of unknown origins finished in a silver grey enamel with clear coat and a marcasite laurel outer shell.

The interior is a brilliant gold tone with a machined inner lid, lift up handle to save nails, mirror has bevelled edged, sifter, all hinges and catches are perfect.

The outer lid has been etched to high light the base metal that match, hinge and clasp. 

The clasp resembles a pair of wings or clouds
