Don't get your setup just right only to find out that your car is too low or too high. This kit include an easy to setup self-leveling beam laser, 4 easy to read targets that are held to the frame with magnets and a separate pad leveling target for leveling the scale pads and establishing the 'ground plane' to measure chassis heights.
Laser stand includes bracket with knob for major height adjustments or make minor adjustments with the leveling screws on the base plate. It doesn't have to be perfectly level as the laser self-levels.
Summary: The material used for the laser targets does does not show the laser well unless the laser falls on the painted? lines. Only some of the lines are large enough to put the entire laser line on the targets. Also, $24 for one of these targets is ridiculous. I could bend a steel ruler and put a harbor freight magnet on it for less than $5. And I could see the laser better. If I have to move the head to aim at the other targets, the screw that holds it steady loosens up and the level is changed. I could hit all targets if my shop was triple the size and my hoist was out of the way. I need a hoist to put the car on the stands. These units are pricey. As a young man, I couldn't afford to buy one. But as a near retirement man, I can afford anything I want, but now I have poor eyesight. This doesn't seem like a consideration when this unit was designed.
Yes, I recommend this product.
