INFORMATION ABOUT THE SCULPTOR BRUNO ZACH (1891 - 1935):
The well-known Austrian artist and modeler was born in Vienna and worked in Austria and Germany.
In 1935 Zach emigrated to the USA.
Bruno Zach was one of the most famous sculptors of Art Deco figures in the period 1918 - 1935, with a focus on the design of dancers and nude figures of great intensity. In addition, he designed cowboys and Indians, especially in his later creative period - from 1930 to 1935.
Bruno Zach's artistic activity in Austria is closely linked to VIENNA BRONZE; Numerous great figures - designed by Zach - were created in the Bergmann Bronze Manufactory!
The tradition of the Vienna Bronze Manufactory developed in the middle of the 19th century. Century, when numerous bronze artists were working in the capital of the Empire / as a result, the successful manufactories came together under the umbrella organization 'VIENNA BRONZES' (= a connection of around 120 manufactories) / the most famous manufactory was the one owned by the Bergmann family.

The well-known Austrian artist and designer Bruno Zach was born in Vienna and worked in Austria as well as in Germany. He immigrated to the USA in 1935.
Bruno Zach was one of the best known designers of Art Deco figurines in period of 1918 - 1935, having emphasized design of dancers and nude figurines of stunning liveliness. Beyond that, Zach specialized in design of cowboys and native Americans during his later creating period / circa 1930 - 35.
Bruno Zach's artistic activity in Austria is strongly connected with Vienna Bronze manufactory; numerous stunning figurines were made by order of Vienna Bronze firm having been designed by Bruno Zach!
