I have been very impressed with the Skydio drone's AI controlled Obstacle Avoidance .
My one concern as I am buzzing through trees and hugging the ground is:

What happens to the camera in a bad crash?

I designed these as a safeguard.
This model works with the Skydio 2+ or the Skydio 2

These are screw/on so the 5G antenae can be Up
Weight:
One set left/right 32g

Includes
1- Skydio Left and Right guard

Guards can be moved along motor arms about 1/2 inch to adjust
proximity to camera assembly

Note: The guards mount out of view of the 6 navagation cameras
FOV so there is no obstruction to the AI  OA.

DRONE NOT INCLUDED

There are 3 Versions of this mount in my store:
1-The snap-on is tight however, it could fall off and into downward facing props . I have never had it happen nor been informed of it happening. We recommend a small bead of hot melt on connection seam. (see photo)

2-The screw on is new it is made of 3 pieces so you have a more secure attachment then the snap on that allows 5G antenea to be lifted up.

3-The original version is the strongist however , it does not allow for the 5g antenae to rise without removing guards

Manufactured out of high grade PLA+ fasteners are included just attach
and fly safer

General for All Mounts

We are constantly updating based on field use reports . As a result photos and instructions and components may change
at any time.

Disclaimer

We offer no guarantees  that a mount will perform up to your expectations since there are too many variables.
Use best practices for safe flying at all times . If unsure check with the FAA drone rules and regulations online.
We assume no responsibility for any damage or injury because of the addition of one of our mounts.

Payload Location and Clearance

When mounting payloads verify against recommended weights and sizes for your drone in manual or
contact manufacturer

If you mount anything on top of the mount make sure it has prop clearance a simple checking method is listed next:

1-Place your drone with props on and look down from directly above make sure
you have clearance with nothing protruding inside the rotor envelope

2-If you do have payloads in the body envelope or you are unsure make styrofoam size model and affix it with double stick
or velcro. Manually move the props through the full range and make sure there is no interference
