Large French painting from the second half of the 19th century. Oil on canvas work depicting a pleasant landscape "Romantic scene" with characters, good pictorial quality and pleasant furnishings. Carved and gilded wooden frame with some small drops in gilding, not contemporary, replaced together with the frame during the 20th century. Painting of great size and impact that can be easily placed in different parts of the house. On the right side there are some signs of restoration work carried out over time (see photo) and a loss of colour. Overall, the painting is in a fair state of conservation. H 91 x W 149 x D 3 cm
