Nowitzki was a 1st round pick of the Milwaukee Bucks in the 1998 NBA Draft and was immediately traded to the Dallas Mavericks with whom he spent his entire NBA career. He is the only player ever to play for a single franchise for 21 seasons. He has been an NBA champion, NBA Finals MVP, NBA Most Valuable Player, 14× NBA All-Star, and Three-Point Shootout champion among his many awards and achievements. He has also represented Team Germany in international competition. Nowitzki is the only player to record at least 31,000 points, 10,000 rebounds, 3,000 assists, 1,000 steals, 1,000 blocks and 1,000 three-point field goals. He is in the top 10 all time in several categories, and is a member of the Basketball Hall of Fame.
