Biogon 2.8/35 is a wide-angle lens created by genius lens designer Ludwig Bertele for the old Contax. The legendary lens has been revived in the 21st century with a new design that also supports TTL photometry. It exhibits amazing performance even from the widest aperture, and is characterized by sharp, distortion-free rendering that completely eliminates distortion. The compact styling with a total length of 29.8mm makes it the best match for Zeiss Ikon as a standard lens for rangefinder cameras. Increases the mobility of shooting. The "C" in the lens name refers to a series of highly acclaimed classic lenses that were lined up for Contax rangefinder cameras of yesteryear, which have been newly designed as ZM mounts that can be attached to Zeiss Ikon cameras.
