Offered for your consideration is one (1) vintage BOSE 3 inch tweeter removed from a BOSE Interaudio 2000 speaker, USA-manufactured in 1993. I believe this is the tweeter that BOSE also used in the larger Interaudio 3000 and 4000 during the same production era. In any event, the buyer is responsible for accurately verifying this tweeter’s suitability for their speaker. Meaning, remove your blown/damaged tweeter from the enclosure in order to compare it thoroughly to the one shown here.

So, please have a look at my large photos and read the remaining description to decide if this superb BOSE high frequency driver should be yours.

This BOSE tweeter is in clean, excellent condition. The sturdy paper cone is perfect and so is the voice coil dustcap. Also, the anodized steel basket is in great shape with no dings or scratches. Lastly, I left several inches of +/- input wire attached to the BOSE-style +/- ‘spike’ terminals for your convenience when splicing in to your speaker(s). The third wire, gray, connects to the woofer’s neg. ground in the Interaudio 2000 application. Overall, this tweeter is exceptionally well preserved.

Most importantly, it sounds terrific with strong, clear output. Plus, I tested its DC resistance at 3.8Ω, consistent with a nominal 4 ohm driver rating. Lastly, with plastic flange cover on, it measures just under 4” diameter. The basket, with cover removed, measures 3” wide and it stands 1⅜” tall. And, the mount patter of the cover is 2⅜” adjacent / 3⅜” on the diagonal, c-t-c.

So, if you have a blown or damaged tweeter in your period Interaudio 2000, 3000, 4000, or other suitable BOSE model, you’ve found the right listing—your speakers will be sounding their finest once again!

As pictured and described, this exceptional BOSE 3” tweeter is offered at a competitive price.
