A superb black haori kimono Jacket with a big motif on the back, of red and white roses,with bud and leaves.

A single red rose is placed at the front.

Traditional hand-knotted himo ties to close, one pinkish red and one 2 tones white with black stripes dyed to red.

Half-lining white, with clouds motif.

Traditional criss-cross stitching at back of neck.

Some of the roses have metallic highlights painted strokes.

This haori is at least 25  years old as I bought it when travelling in Japan in an vintage shop.

It is in polyester, which means it can be (hand) washed.

It is in perfect condition, some slight marks on the fabric, only really visible through light  with one small faded spot near the front left shoulder, see photos.

The lining has some marks on both sides near armpits.

The himo ties are I think in cotton, with some slight ageing/handling marks.
