Both of these stopped working on my 2014 MDX. I bought replacements and installed them. But to drive while waiting, I tried cleaning these. I blew them out with compressed air, then cleaned them in the ultrasonic, even running them while submerged.

A ton of carbon came out, and they seemed to work again. Pretty good, actually. There was so much carbon in there the weeping holes were clogged.

As to how much life is left on the brushes I cannot say. But they run.

These will do in a pinch at least. 

Removed at 116k. These are the original units.

This is a set of two used cooling fan motors for a 2014 Acura MDX. The parts are a direct replacement and fit on the left and right side of the vehicle. The product is not a universal fitment and is not a performance part.
