1980 Heathkit Continuing Education Course EC-1000: Personal Computing. Hard-to-find item. 

This was Heathkit's introduction to personal computing that was first published at the dawn of the age of personal computers. Comes with the original audio tutorial contained on two cassette tapes.

Nothing is missing from this Heathkit gem. All pages from all five chapters and the appendix are included in the original three-ring binder.

Also included is the even-more rare Final Examination Kit, which is unmarked. Heathkit would issue certificates to users who successfully competed the course and passed the final exam.

I acquired this kit in 1980, not long after I got my first Apple II Plus personal computer. Due to age, some of the pages have yellowed slightly. The front cover also has a bit of discoloration. Lastly, note that I filled-in some of the worksheets in the first two chapters when I was a high school nerd, but luckily I used a pencil, not a pen.

This item has been kept in a pet-free, smoke-free home since it was new. Seller will ship only to non-military addresses in the lower 48 states. "Economy shipping" means USPS media mail.
