This unique eBay listing is a custom and genuine Ingersoll Rand tune up and repair parts kit to convert and tune up your model 2141 6-vane tool to a 7-vane fire-breathing-beast. I supply a new 7-vane rotor with the same IR vanes pulled from a brand new 2145QiMAX tool. I add the: o'rings, gaskets, new bearings and small hardware to tune up and torque up your ailing model 2141 tool. Also provided is the complete 2141-D565 air inlet bushing assembly with the 2141-K303 air inlet kit factory installed and tested for perfection. This is a quick change tune up and torque up kit. You will obtain the higher operating performance characteristics of an Ingersoll Rand 2145QiMAX tool. This rotor is a drop-in installation torque improving modification with no downside risk. 

I provide 3/4" anvil ring kits as standard for this kit but also offer both hammer case gaskets as well as both sized trigger o'rings. The rest is all the same for either or all tools. If you have a 1"drive tool the standard 3/4" anvil ring kit can be swapped at no extra cost. If you own an IR2145QiMAX 3/4" drive or 2155QiMAX 1" drive tool then this kit fits your tool as well. You get the same new rotor and matched vanes. O'rings, gaskets, bearings, and 2141-D565 air inlet bushing also service your tool as well. 

The conversion kit adds about 50 to 150 foot pounds in reverse and about 75 foot pounds in forward drive position. The real and actual torque output numbers vary on this due to the nature of: existing tool parts fitment, all internal air tool leakage, operating (regulated) air pressure to the tool, your air hose system's internal condition, your supply hose ID and the properly maintained distance (steel piping diameter and ID) from the compressor air receiver. The reason why impact tools have higher torque ratings in reverse than forward is explained thusly. It takes more torque (higher numbers and heavier impacts per second) to stretch a steel fastener and the threads which hold it to the limit of tensile strength than it does to release (in reverse position) the stress of the tensile stress on a fastener.
