Blick ins Jethro Tal, arabisch "Wadi Shueib", in Jordanien. Das Tal wurde nach der alttestamentarischen Figur Jethro benannt, dem Schwiegervater Moses. Eindrucksvoll schreibt sich das Tal in die markanten Felsen ein, ein kleines Dorf ist im Mittelgrund zu erkennen im sonst menschenleeren Tal.

  • Description: Inscribed lower left "H. Fenn Pinxt.", inscribed lower right "C. Cousen Sculpt.", named "Wâdy Sho'eib-Jehtro's Valley". View of the Jethro Valley, Arabic "Wadi Shueib", in Jordan. The valley was named after the Old Testament figure Jethro, Moses' father-in-law. The valley is impressively inscribed in the striking rocks, a small village can be seen in the middle ground in the otherwise deserted valley.
