• Beschreibung: Die Darstellung zeigt eine Truppe von Reitern in militärischer Uniform, die soeben durch ein geöffnetes Tor gelangt sind. Im Vordergrund überreicht eine Frau ihnen zwei große Schlüssel. Der Hintergrund lässt die Szenerie als Hafengebiet erkennen, dort sind vereinzelt kleinere Boote zu sehen, ein Obelisk steht am Ufer des Hafens. Im Hintergrund zwei große Segelschiffe.

• Description: The depiction shows a troop of horsemen in military uniform who have just passed through an open gate. In the foreground a woman hands them two large keys. The background shows the scene as a harbour area, there are isolated smaller boats to be seen, an obelisk stands on the shore of the harbour. In the background are two large sailing ships.

• Condition: Good condition. The sheet is mounted in a passepartout. Isolated pale discolourations. The corners of the sheet are bumped.
