  • Beschreibung: Blick in eine hügelige Landschaft. Im Mittelgrund der Darstellung sind einige Häuser zu erkennen, womöglich ein landwirtschaftlich genutztes Gehöft. Dieses ist umgeben von Bäumen, im Hintergrund ist eine größerer, markante Erhebung zu erkennen. 1885 in Affeltrangen, Österreich, geboren, besuchte Hans WAGNER die Kunstgewerbeschule in München. Im Herbst des Jahres 1913 erwarb er das Patent als Zeichenlehrer für die Schweiz. Zahlreiche Skizzen, Zeichnungen und Drucke sind erhalten, die Wagner in den unterschiedlichsten Medien - wie Kohle, Aquarell oder als Holzschnitt - anfertigte.

  • Description: Without designation. View of a hilly landscape. In the middle ground of the picture some houses can be seen, possibly a farmstead used for agricultural purposes. It is surrounded by trees, in the background a larger, prominent hill can be seen. Born in Affeltrangen, Austria, in 1885, Hans WAGNER attended the school of arts and crafts in Munich. In the autumn of 1913 he acquired a patent as a drawing teacher for Switzerland. Numerous sketches, drawings and prints have been preserved, which Wagner produced in a wide variety of media - such as charcoal, watercolour or as woodcuts.
