    Das Blatt stammt aus einer Reihe von Münchner Stadtansichten, die von der Hand Bollingers oder unter seiner Regie entstanden sind. Der Künstler war zwischen 1805 und 1820 in Bayern tätig und ist vor allem für seine Veduten aus München mit markanten Architekturen und Bürgerhäusern bekannt.

    The sheet is one of a series of Munich city views by Bollinger's hand or under his direction. The artist was active in Bavaria between 1805 and 1820 and is best known for his vedute of Munich with striking architecture and town houses.

  • Description: View of the field side of the Munich Isar Gate with a busy forecourt. Below is a beer coachman with a large barrel of Märzen beer.

  • Condition: Good condition. Particularly discoloured and partly slightly stained on the sheet margin. Somewhat browned along the edges. The corners of the sheet are minimally bumped.
