  • Beschreibung: Aufwändig gestaltete Karte mit silbernem Zierrahmen und Rankwerk, als Andenken an die Heilige Kommunion. Die Darstellung zeigt einen Engel der schützend seine Hand über das Kommunionkind hält. Votivkarten oder Votivbilder, nicht selten kunstfertig gestaltete t, sind Votivgaben und damit Gegenstände, die aufgrund eines Gelübdes bzw. einer Verlobung als Dankesgabe für Errettung aus Not, Gefahr, von Krankheit u.a. öffentlich dargebracht werden. Die kleinformatigen Votivkarten enthalten in den meisten Fällen ein kleines Andachtsbild und sind mit aufwändigem Zierwerk gestaltete t.   • Description: Elaborately designed card with silver decorative frame and vine work, as a souvenir of Holy Communion. The depiction shows an angel holding his protective hand over the communion child. Votive cards or votive pictures, not infrequently artistically designed, are votive offerings and thus objects that are publicly offered on the basis of a vow or betrothal as a thank-you gift for salvation from hardship, danger, illness, etc. The small-format votive cards are also known as votive cards. The small-format votive cards usually contain a small devotional picture and are designed with elaborate ornamentation.   • Condition: Good condition. The silver paint has flaked off in a few small places, the foil in front of the display is slightly wavy. The stand mounted on the back is fragile.
