  • Beschreibung: Darstellung des Heiligen Christophorus nach einem Gemälde oder einer Statue. Aus Untersicht und Hüne mit Stab dargestellt, trägt er, so wird es in der Legende Aurea überliefert, das Jesuskind auf den Schultern über einen Fluss. Er zählt zu den Vierzehn Nothelfern und ist heute besonders bekannt als Schutzheiliger der Reisenden.

  • Description: Without designation. Depiction of St. Christopher from a painting or statue. Depicted from below and as a giant with a staff, he carries the infant Jesus on his shoulders across a river, as the legend Aurea tells us. He is one of the Fourteen Helpers in Need and is particularly well known today as the patron saint of travellers.

  • Condition: Good condition. Crease marks in the area of the corners, vertical crease mark in the centre. Isolated pale discolourations, the margins of the sheet are partly damaged.
