  • Beschreibung: Bezeichnet unten links "Brindesi pinx.", bezeichnet unten rechts "G. Pommer sculp.". Auf einem staubigen Weg entlangfahrend, erblicken die Betrachtenden ein Fuhrwerk, welches von zwei Ochsen gezogen wird. Das Fuhrwerk ist ebenso wie die Tiere mit Ornamenten und Zierwerk geschmückt. Die Figuren tragen allesamt orientalisierende Gewänder, die Silhouette eines Dorfes im Hintergrund mit Minarett verortet die Szenerie in einem möglicherweise muslimischen Land.

  • Description: Inscribed at lower left "Brindesi pinx.", inscribed at lower right "G. Pommer sculp. Driving along a dusty road, the viewer sees a carriage pulled by two oxen. The carriage, like the animals, is decorated with ornaments and decoration. The figures all wear orientalising garments, the silhouette of a village in the background with a minaret locates the scene in a possibly Muslim country.
