B&H Regent B-flat Clarinet - refurbished

Boosey& Hawkes Regent B-flat Clarinet No 396520. This clarinet has had a full overhaul in my workshop which involves :complete disassembly, cleaning, replacement of all pads,, replacement of tenon joint cork as required, oiling rods and pivot screws, adjusting the action and playtesting to ensure full working order.

The body and key work are in very good condition.  There is a very slight blemish on the chrome finish which is on the outside of the G/D ring key (see photo 13).   

This clarinet is suitable for a beginner and is more robust than some new student clarinets which often suffer from bent keys and cracked tenon joints.  The mouthpiece is in excellent condition and has no visible marks. The case is an original Bandhite hard case which is in reasonable condition (some rusting around the handle (see photo).  The outfit comes with a new cork grease tube and pull-through cloth.

In summary, this is a good choice for a beginner.  The instrument plays very well and will serve its next owner for many years.
