I bought this sticker back in 1980 at the start of the Lombard RAC Rally in Bath, but can't remember if it was an official Rothmans sticker or a copy someone had printed. Hence I'm listing it at a low price. But this is NOT a modern reproduction, but an original sticker of the time. Kept flat in an envelope ever since along with other stickers, it still has it's original backing on.
Rothmans sponsored the Ford Escort RS1800's of Ari Vatanan and Timo Makinen (finished 6th) but also went on to sponsor the Opel Ascona 400 rally cars later on, so it could cover either ! Also they sponsored Porsche 911 rally cars at some point
But it would still make a great backdrop to 1980's rally car models !
