Would look much better for a good clean but I’ve left as found in the garage when clearing. Not perfect but very useable and the photographs are very accurate.

Unsure of age as I haven’t had a bike for over 40 years and I don’t recollect using a basket! Hoping you may work it out from pictures if you have any knowledge of bikes and baskets! 

Was going to to plant up with bulbs and hang on trellis but it seems a shame not to use it for its true purpose.
