Very old (18th or 19th century) katar dagger and sheath. It is hard to find these complete with the sheath. The blade and hilt are encased in gold foil or some other method of applying a gold color to the weapon. The blade and hilt have pitting and discoloration in spots. All parts solid and no movement. Sheath is in very good shape and dagger fits perfectly and securely in sheath. A patch of leather loss on rear side at mouth. Blade length 9" and overall length is 15.5".
